Promoting Diversity–Conscious Communications
Many multi-lingual professionals are not understood because of accent and language challenges. The result can be frustration, lack of career advancement and reduced productivity.Professionals with English as a Second Language, who feel handicapped in traditional presentation courses will benefit from Pronunciation and Presentation Training.
This program combines personal speech improvement with presentation training. The first hour is focused on the sound system of American English, while the second hour highlights a specific presentation skill. Participants incorporate a targeted accent or grammatical form while practicing a specific presentation skill. In addition, professionals receive between-class assignments to keep their learning active and current. Topics include:
